Pain 01 · lost trip

One wrong letter on a certificateand the trip is gone

A document rejected at the Migraciones counter has no appeal: it means going back to Brazil, fixing it, rescheduling and paying for everything again.

How Romper solves it

Dossier checked letter by letter. The trip only happens when it is ready for the counter.

Pain 02 · cancellation

Vanished from the countryand the residence falls

The law has two clocks (Ley 6984/2022, arts. 54 and 55): 1 year away brings down the temporary one; 3 years bring down the permanent one. In both cases the word is unjustified absence, reported in advance to Migraciones, it does not count against you.

How Romper solves it

ID card, grace period and renewal stay inside the SOR, with a warning before any due date.

The ID card “guaranteed in 45 days”does not exist

Anyone promising a government timeframe (or the whole process “in a single trip”) is lying, and usually disappears with the deposit too.

Pain 04 · wrong sequence

One document expireswaiting for the other

The procedure has an order. Issuing in the wrong sequence makes a certificate expire midway, and the process goes back to square one.

You get the step by step in the exact order of issuance, with every validity mapped out.

Guarantee

What iswritten in the terms of use

A guarantee here is not a website sticker.

  • Dossier checked before any trip
  • In-house team and fleet on the day of the procedures
  • No deadline of yours lost for lack of warning
  • A manager with a name and a face from start to finish
  • Price fixed in the terms of use

Honesty

And what no serious operationcan promise

If they promised you any of these three, you are not talking to a serious operation.

  • Approval: the decision is up to Migraciones
  • A fixed timeframe from a public agency
  • A shortcut outside Ley 6984/2022
Book of Immigration Law 6984/2022

Price on the screen,no asterisk

The value is Romper's handling. The official agency fees are already included in the price — no surprise charges later.

At closing, when your case calls for it, these come in: Accompanying Adult (a minor accompanied on the day of the procedures) and Legal Representation during the temporary period (recurring, price on request).

Since Res. DNM 407/2026, the permanent one asks for income, not just paperwork. Migraciones requires effective income generation consistent with the activity you declared for the temporary one: VAT for the last 3 months or IRP for the year, with movement. The one who keeps that proof alive all year long is your accounting; that is why the documentation and the Personal package go together here.

Who handles it matters
You are not hiring a paperwork agent. You are hiring the largest operation for immigrants in Paraguay.

In-house team in the field, legal and accounting under one roof, a fleet on procedure days and every deadline of yours inside the system, with an immigration manager who answers for the process with a name and a face.

We are not foreveryone

Better to know now than to find out in the middle of the process.

It makes sense for those who

  • Are going to actually live or do business in Paraguay
  • Prefer to pay once, right, over paying twice, wrong
  • Want someone responsible with a name and a face
  • Need to bring spouse and children in the same block

It does not make sense for those who

  • Want a guarantee of approval or a fixed timeframe
  • Look for the lowest price above all else
  • Expect a shortcut outside Paraguayan law
  • Do not intend to set foot in Paraguay

Questions those who want to reside ask before signing

Direct answers, no judgment: the real doubts that come in every day.

What is the difference between residency and admission?
Residency is the name of the process; what you receive at the end is the admission, temporary or permanent. The market says “residency” and we understand it, but on the system screens and in your documents the correct technical term appears.
How long does it really take?
The average of our processes: temporary admission in 3 to 5 months, ID card right after. Anyone promising “40 guaranteed days” is lying: the final timeframe is up to Migraciones, not to whoever is selling to you.
How many times do I need to go to Paraguay?
In the standard flow, one trip resolves the filing, with our team and the fleet handling the day. The ID card requires your presence again; we organize the two windows to fit your schedule. And be careful: a promise of everything (ID card included) “in a single trip, by power of attorney” is a scam. Biometrics require you to be present.
How long can I stay outside Paraguay?
There are two deadlines, and the law is literal (Ley 6984/2022, art. 55): temporary, more than 1 year away: canceled; permanent, more than 3 consecutive years: canceled (art. 54). The detail that saves you: the law speaks of unjustified absence. With prior authorization from Migraciones, the clock does not run against you. It is the kind of clock the system monitors and warns about in advance.
What changed with Resolution 407/2026?
For the permanent one, the diploma is no longer enough: now you must prove active economic solvency (open RUC and declarations up to date). In practice, accounting became the engine of permanence. The temporary one does not require it.
Which documents are the basis of everything?
Birth certificate (the base document), a valid identity document and criminal background checks. The full list varies by route: the screening delivers yours, with the validities mapped out.
Can I bring my spouse and children?
Yes. Each person has their own process, and we organize the family as a block. Accompanied minors have their own authorization rules; the Accompanying Adult exists for the day of the procedures.
Mercosur and outside Mercosur: what changes?
The legal basis and some documents. The price, however, is single: US$ 1,897 for all nationalities. The scope of handling is the same.
Can I do it alone, without hiring anyone?
You can. The process is public and the law is open to anyone who wants to read it. Is it advisable? It depends on you: the procedure has sequence traps (a document with a validity that expires while waiting for another), and one mistake costs a new trip. Whoever hires is paying not to waste an attempt.
What do you NOT promise?
A government timeframe and a guaranteed approval. What we do guarantee: a correct dossier, handling in the field and no deadline of yours lost for lack of warning.
Post-admission add-on: Paraguayan driver's license: US$ 279. Car, motorcycle or both, single price (we do not do trucks). Issued for those who already have an ID card, with the process handled by the team and the expiry monitored by the system. It is not a standalone service: it is offered to those already in the ecosystem, alongside your process. Your Brazilian license is valid during a tourism period; a resident drives with a local document, and that is what closes the gray area with enforcement and insurance.
