Heading to permanent residency?The diploma becomes a requirement.

Anyone who entered temporary residency declaring to be a professional or technician must prove it in permanency: a degree registered and endorsed by the MEC, an active tax life and demonstrated solvency (IPS, an approved contract or VAT for the last 3 months / income tax for the last year with activity). The degree alone, says Res. DNM 407/2026, does not prove solvency.

A validated diploma and a live RUC go together. The rule requires the degree and actual practice, and what keeps that practice visible to Migraciones is your accounting. Sworn translations and apostilles are passed through separately, disclosed before the contract; the official agency fees are already included in the price. Exams and coursework, when the field requires them, have their own official costs. The analysis credit is valid for 30 days: past that deadline, the case is analyzed again, because Paraguayan rules have been changing with the volume of immigrants.

Do I need a Paraguayan ID card to validate the diploma?
To validate, no. To practice the profession, invoice and prove solvency in permanency, the set goes together: ID card, RUC and validated diploma. Romper handles all three ends.
I graduated outside Mercosur. Does anything change?
The complexity changes, not the door: Mercosur is simpler, and Romper validates diplomas from any country in the world. The case analysis tells the path of yours.
How long does the validation take?

What is the course curriculum comparison?
Every validation compares your program's subjects with the Paraguayan curriculum. If content is missing, there's targeted coursework, and the analysis already says whether your case has any.
I'm in healthcare. Will I take an exam?
There may be an exam. It's the most demanding field. The case analysis answers whether your training comes in with an exam, with coursework or straight through.
I'm a lawyer. What changes for me?
After the validation, practicing law requires an oath before the Supreme Court. Romper handles the validation and accompanies you up to the oath.
What exactly does the guarantee cover?
The result: once your case's mandatory steps are met (documentation, coursework and exams when required) it's 100% validated or 100% of your money back. A public agency's timeline isn't part of the guarantee.
And if the analysis says my diploma won't validate?
You receive the written opinion and the US$ 149 aren't refunded. The analysis was work delivered. Better to find out now, for that amount, than after months and fees.
Does the analysis credit last forever?
It's valid for 30 days. After that the case needs to be analyzed again: Paraguayan rules have been changing with the volume of immigrants, and an old opinion won't serve you.
